Welcome to Lomond Rope Access. We are a team of experienced rope access technicians with the current management having a combined 20 years plus experience of rope access operations both onshore and offshore throughout the uk and abroad.

As well as being highly experienced and trained industrial rope access technicians many of our team are also qualified tradesmen, experts in their field, we have an electrician, rigger, pipefitter to name a few. We provide our clients with a multi skilled rope access team who prides itself in being expert working at height problem solvers.

At Lomond rope access, we undertake our operations in accordance with the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) International code of practice (ICOP). We only ever hire technicians who have been trained & assessed to then hold a valid IRATA certification. All our rope access site operations are supervised by qualified IRATA L3 technicians only.

What is Rope Access?

Rope access is a ‘Safe Efficient & Affordable’ Access system which has the ability to cut down time, labour & hire costs of the more traditional working at height access techniques for example scaffold or the use of mechanical Elevated platforms. We have the ability to access anywhere our clients need!

Rope Access has been about since the early 1980’s adapted from mountaineering and caving techniques to be used originally in the offshore oil and gas sector. Its safety aspects and efficiency soon helped it to diversify into many sectors from rail, agricultural, manufacturing and construction to name a few. Today it has a wide variety of uses and as a whole its safety record is second to none, due to the technicians being highly trained and experienced in what we do.
